Benefits of Alumni Membership
1. Network with old friends and former classmates
2. Reminisce golden memories with significant others
3. Know latest updates about our alma mater and alumni association through the alumni’s “Link” newsletter and website
4. Contribute to the needs of our alma mater and its students
5. Through www.pgchsalumni.com site, upload any information, news, events, messages, and pictures for everyone to enjoy
To submit your latest news, messages, events, and other information (article), you should do the following:
1. Click “Submission” section and end up on the “Submission Policy and Agreement” page;
2. Read the policy and if you agree with it, click “I Agree” to connect you to the submission page. If you choose “I Do Not Agree”, then you will be returned to the “Home” page;
3. While at the submission page, click “Create Article” and you will be connected to a page with a blank form. To submit your article or picture, you have to complete this form;
4. Enter the “Title” of you article, and then select the “Category” where your article should be placed such as “Updates and Events,” “Alumni News”, “Photo Gallery,” etc. You can even decide to upload your information specific to your alumni section. If this is what you want, you may choose “Alumni Years: 1955 – 1959: Updates and Events” etc.;
5. The “Filename” will be generated automatically so you may disregard this.
6. Enter your name in the “Author” section. You may or may not use “External Link”;
7. Put the summary of your article at the “Summary” section and the full article at the “Content” section;
8. Click “Save” and the new information will be reviewed by the administrator. If approved, the article will be “live” online within a few days.
To submit your pictures or images (article), you should do the following:
1. Follow steps 1 to 7 above. Upload one of your favorite images (400 pixels wide will give you maximum result) via “Summary Upload”. If successful, you’ll see something like this ***image*** at the “Placeholder”. You should copy and paste this to the “Summary Image” form below;
2. Upload some images to “Upload Images” (400 pixels wide will give you maximum result). If successful, you’ll see something like this ***image*** or ***imageX*** at the “Placeholder”. You should copy and paste one of these (usually your favorite) to the “Main Image” form below;
3. Also, upload all images to “Gallery Images” if you want all pictures to appear in the “Photo Gallery” section.
4. Click “Save” and the new images will be reviewed by the administrator. If approved, the pictures will be “live” online within a few days.
